Welcome to The Wilson Ranch. Our ranch is in southwest Sterling County and is about 18,000 acres. Larry and Tina Wilson have lived and operated this ranch for over 30 years. We have cattle, registered dorper sheep, boer goats and hunting.

Our hunting has been some of the best in the West Texas area for several years. We feed year around and try to manage our deer in a manner where trophy deer are harvested.

Our registered dorper sheep have won at major show and are some of the best genetics in the USA. We are very proud of our breeding program and are constantly improving on it.

The boer goat pogram is new to us in the past three years, but we are already at the front of the genetic pool. We have had wether goat winners at major shows in 2005 and already in 2006. Our bucks are Powell-Holman breeding. We have direct genetics to the bucks that won Denver in 2006.

The bird hunting consists of bobwhite and blue quail. We have had a great crop of birds for several years. The hunters have a good time and ususally get their limit. We provide cabins for hunters, and dogs are allowed during bird season.
